Born on 6 December, 1992, in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, he began his music career at a young age, with his mother encouraging his talent from the age of three. He is recognized for his distinctive blend of Afro-pop with elements of Maskandi, house, and R&B, characterized by his soulful Zulu vocals that explore themes of love and life.
