Llandel Veguilla Malavé Salazar, best known by his stage name Yandel, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born on 14 January, 1977, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, he rose to international fame as one half of the highly successful reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. He is recognized for his distinctive vocal style and significant contributions to the Latin urban music genre, both as part of the duo and as a solo artist.

Throughout his career, Yandel has been associated with several record labels. With Wisin & Yandel, he initially signed with Universal subsidiary Machete Music and later co-founded their own label, WY Records. As a solo artist, he has released music under labels such as Sony Music Latin and Warner Music Latina, and also through his independent imprint La Leyenda LLC. He continues to release new music, cementing his status as a key figure in reggaeton.
