We Will Worship (often abbreviated as WWW) is a highly influential South African worship movement and music collective that has reshaped the landscape of contemporary African gospel music. Founded in 2006 by Langa Mbonambi, the group famously began as a “crazy dream” during an accounting lecture. Based in Johannesburg, they identify not as a traditional band, but as a movement of “friends and priests” dedicated to seeing the nations of Africa transformed through everyday worship in every tongue.

Their sound is a rich, organic tapestry that blends Urban Gospel, Folk, and Indie-soul with traditional South African harmonies. They are pioneers of “multilingual worship,” seamlessly transitioning between English, Zulu, Sotho, Xhosa, and other indigenous languages. A hallmark of their ministry is the “Monday morning” philosophy—the belief that worship does not end on Sunday but continues at the altars of our daily lives as accountants, students, and parents.

In 2026, We Will Worship has been exceptionally active, releasing two major projects that celebrate South Africa’s cultural and spiritual heritage. They started the year with the EP Those Who Dream on 30 January, 2026, and followed it with a powerful live recording, Izililo (Live on Freedom Day), released on 24 April, 2026. Their influence is deeply woven into the Mmuso Worship movement (the Pretoria-based collective also associated with Mmuso Church), with both groups sharing a vision for “Kingdom Culture” and collaborative ministry.
